Who doesn’t love Tacos???

Try out this well balance Macro option of Turkey tacos!

500g extra lean ground turkey
1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 shallots, chopped
1/2 cup whole kernel corn
2 small, whole wheat tortillas
1 tbsp chili powder
1/2 tsp chili flakes
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp olive oil

In a medium saucepan, heat the olive oil and shallots over medium heat. When shallots become soft, add in minced garlic. Cook, stirring occasionally for 2 minutes. Add in ground turkey and cook, uncoverred, stirring occasionally for about 10 minutes or until the turkey is completely cooked. Add in seasonings, chopped pepper and corn. Cook in medium for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. When turkey mixture is done, spoon into tortillas and serve hot. Optional: for a low fat option instead of sour cream, use plain, fat free Greek yogurt.
